IIE ROSEBANK COLLEGE GRADUATES LAUNCH INTO THE WORLD OF WORK THROUGH GRADUATE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

World of Work • May 13, 2020

PRODUCING WELL-ROUNDED GRADUATES WITH MORE THAN TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

The Graduate Empowerment Programme (GEP) was initiated in 2012 by Rosebank College, a brand of The Independent Institute of Education, SA’s largest and most accredited private higher education provider.

The aim of the programme is to address graduate unemployment in South Africa through work readiness coaching sessions and empowering IIE graduates with the tools they need to increase their chances of securing employment.

“The Graduate Empowerment Programme assisted me by preparing me for what comes after uni. What to include and what not to include in a CV, how to prepare for an interview, how to answer interview questions, and how to handle myself in the workplace,” says Nkululeko Mlotshwa, who holds an IIE Diploma in IT in Software Development.

The IIE's Rosebank College has made it its priority to produce highly employable IIE Rosebank College graduates who have the knowledge, skills, competence and confidence they need to become valued assets within any organisation. The IIE’s Rosebank College Graduate Empowerment Programme has placed over 11,000 IIE graduates in employment across various South African companies to date.

One of the major benefits of studying with The IIE's Rosebank College is its strong focus on making graduates ready for the world of work. This means that our career centres go all out to prepare our graduates for the world of work through work readiness coaching sessions offered through our Graduate Empowerment Programme.

IIE Rosebank College has awesome career centres, with an amazing track record of giving graduates a headstart.
